There are many things people do on their birthdays. Some people don’t even remember their birthdays while to others, especially women, their birthday date is always on their fingertips.
Nana Wanjiku Gecaga, the Managing Director of Kenyatta International Conference (KICC) and also President Uhuru’s niece celebrated her 40th birthday in the most amazing way.
According to sources, a birthday part was an invites-only party held in Malindi. Nana who could hold back her joy took to social media giving thanks to all those who made her birthday successful.
She received one of the most expensive sandals which are belived to have costed around Ksh.218, 000. Among the invited guests was the Nairobi Gorvernor Mike Sonko, Nana’s brother Jomo Gecaga and socialite Lola Hannigan. The lavish party was graced with all members wearing t-shirt written “Keep calm, its Nana’s Birthday.”
Here is what Nana posted on her social media platform, “I just want to say thank you to everyone for a lovely time and I’m truly blessed. Special thank you to @Kristeen Kuria for making me a Queen for one night, the face beat and hair, thank you too.”
She continued, “You only turn 40 once and my goodness look at these beautiful @giuseppezanotti (Cruel Crystal Sandals) I got as my birthday gift, its every girls dream. They complete my birthday outfit for tonight….thank you soooo much.”
