"Fraudsters alert!" Babu said on in reference to the social media page whose administrators is not known.

"This page is run by fraudsters who will be the first victims of the newly enacted cybercrime law. I am giving those impersonating me through this fake Facebook page 24 hours to bring it down."

The Facebook page had a post in which the administrators posted a message saying Luo men are the most romantic in the world and that Kikuyu women are the best in lovemaking in the entire universe.

The post went ahead and instructed people to like the post or comment with their location as well as telephone numbers and also share the message to as many Facebook pages as possible.

'"Anyway I have Sh100,000 to give to 100 loyal fans, Sh1,000 each," the fraudulent post read.
