Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has now taken a rather spiritual turn urging Kenyans to express complete faith in God this new year.
In a statement on his Facebook page Monday, the young leader called upon Kenyans to be persistent in their endeavours telling them to cling on even when things seem to go wrong.
Drawing his inspiration from the good book, the controversial lawmaker told Kenyans to let go of their disappointments in the previous year and instead fully concentrate on 2018 predicting a difference.
''You tried to fish the whole of 2017 but you caught nothing. No work, no marriage, no finances, no education, no stable income, no kids, no peace, no success. When your life is going the opposite direction, it's not about changing your place of work, changing your church, changing your husband or wife, or giving up,'' said the opposition lawmaker.
''Its all about casting your faith deep in God, casting your fellowship with Jesus deep in believing that God will provide, heal, restore, uplift, deliver, revive, and bring blessings and favour along your way.May the Lord give you the grace to go deeper,'' he advised.
May the Lord grant the wish and make it a reality.
