The delay in the issuance of permits by the Kiambu County Government has attracted the anger of bar owners in the county.They contend that the delay has exposed them to harassment by law enforcement officers in the county.The bar owners yesterday hit out at Governor Ferdinand Waititu for dissolving Kiambu County's liquor board in an unprocedural fashion that has endangered their businesses' bottom line.Speaking on condition of anonymity over the fear that they may be targeted for victimisation, the businesspeople said that their attempts to renew their licenses were being frustrated by officials charged with the responsibility of revenue collection.They have pleaded with Governor of Kiambu to swing into action so as to save their businesses.
