The election of Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang election has been upheld by the High Court.

The case was filed by his competitor Elizabeth Ongoro.

Justice Richard Mwongo in her ruling found no evidence of the massive irregularities cited by Ongoro.

In a quick rejoinder, Ongoro said she would accept the decision and focus his energy on other matters.

“I’m shocked the court has dismissed every piece of evidence we put across. I will rethink my political standing going forward.”

Ongoro sought the nullification of Kajwang’s election over claims of violence, intimidation, voter bribery and collision with IEBC officials.
