Former Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has lashed Interior CS Fred Matiang'i's recent sentiments that local leaders have been against the Bonyunyu dam project
According to the ODM treasurer, Matiang'i and Jubilee Government were forcing the locals to accept a project that they haven't given a green light on it.
"I have been on the ground severely compared to Matiang'i who have never stepped in the area." he said at a function in Bogwendo.
"Therefore I know that the locals aren't happy with the project despite the fact they're being forced to accept," he added.
Bosire however urged the locals to remain calm as he is working on ways that will see the project is stopped.
His sentiments comes barely two days after Fred Matiang'i visited a local school and said the project will go on as planned by the government.
