Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui has congratulated Mr. Carl 'Flash' Tundo for being the winner of Africa Safari Rally Competition.
Carl who hails from Nakuru, exploited his prowess which made many people who graced the presentation of Trophies to winners occasion, happy.
Kinyanjui who graced the occasion with other Kenyan legislators, said that as a county and a country, they recognize the event as important as a milestone in boosting the sport.
"We have not held a national Safari Rally Competition since 2002 and we thank the government for supporting this event," he said.
He added: "Most importantly is to have Kenya included in the World Rally Championship which will market the country worldwide."
He also said that Nakuru county will continue to support Motor Sport and congratulate the winner of Africa Sport Rally Championship Completion Mr Carl Tubdo in a special way.
Those who graced the occasion were; Mr. Kassim Farah Secretary in the Ministry of Sport, Mr. Phineas Kimathi CEO WRC Safari Rally Project and Mr. Oliver Ciesla Managing Director WRC promoter.
