Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose has assured that the construction of Matunwa tea factory will start and be completed without any delay before 2022 elections.
The Jubilee MP said in the factory has been given priority in his tenure.
“Construction of Matunwa tea factory must be completed so that tea farmers can be able to sell their tea leaves to the factory,” he said.
He said once the factory will be completed more jobs will be created and local youths will benefit from the job opportunities.
The MP said he has already ordered CDF committee members to ensure funds are allocated and the tender be given to a serious contractor who will not delay its construction.
"CDF team is ongoing with plans to allocate funds to start the construction of the factory. The contractor who will get the tender should hasten its construction to be completed in time,” he noted.
He said criticism will not derail his development plan for the constituents.
