According to the county governor Jackson Mandago, residents have been suffering water shortage but water problems will soon become a past tense in the county.

“Water scarcity will soon become a past tense in the county because water providers in the county have agreed to help the county government to provide clean water to residents in urban areas and remote areas,” stated Mandago.

The county boss added that more boreholes will be drilled to improve the supply of the commodity.

“We have plans to drill more boreholes within the county and this will help residents access more and clean water,” said Mandago.

He warned water vendors against taking advantage of water shortage in the county to sell water to residents at high prices.
