Different cultures have different reactions to the age difference between spouses.

Some feel that the man should be slightly older than the woman, while others feel like the age gap should not be too wide.

In some cultures, the age gap is a non-issue which begs the question, does age difference really matter in marriage?

The issue of age is not really about the year you were born but how mature you are.

Marrying a man who is 10 years older than you does not mean that there will be an alpha in the house. People only act their part if and when they choose to.

This might be why the age factor is not a barrier to people who are in love.

Men in their twenties are marrying women in their thirties or forty’s and vice versa.

Society has loosened up the way they view this matter. As long as a couple is in love, let them have it their way.

Biologically, age is a concern for women as far as bearing children is concerned. A man who has plans to have children with their spouse will refrain from marrying a woman who has hit menopause.

However, if a couple is open to adoption, menopause will, therefore, have less bearing.

When it comes to the physical attraction factor, most people have their best looks, their strongest times and smoothest skin in their youth.

Well, you cannot blame someone for wanting to enjoy the youth of their spouse, a reason that has seen many people get married young.
