Speaking on Friday at St. Paul’s Nyabururu Teachers Training College, Ruto said Kenyans are tired of endless politics and elected leaders should be given humble time to deliver to the electorates.

“The Jubilee government has four agendas to implement before 2022. There is no time for referendum as Raila is telling Kenyans to do.

"The Gusii community should ignore Raila and ensure they support the leaders they elected to develop all corners of Gusii region,” he said.

Ruto reiterated that nothing is going to stop his presidential ambition in 2022 and called on Gusii leaders to rally behind him when time comes.

"For now let us support President Uhuru Kenyatta to deliver as by the Jubilee manifesto and stop 2022 politicking because we all know who will be the next president after Uhuru.

"Gusii leaders should shun political party politics and consider working with the government of the day to bring development to the Gusii region,” he said.
