There was drama in Garissa Town after a young man who could not control himself decided to touch the behind of a lady who had come to the town to shop.
The lady screamed in horror at the unsolicited touch attracting the attention of passers-by who thought that the lady had been stolen from.
By the time the people came to see what had transpired, the culprit was nowhere to be seen after suspecting that he would be lynched.
''I was walking to that shop to buy some jewelry when I felt a hand on my behinds. I turned around and then there was this burly man smiling at me. I started screaming and that's when he broke into a run. This is sexual harassment,'' the visibly shaken woman said.
She said that she would report the matter to the authorities so that they can be on the lookout for such criminals intent on subjecting women to sexual harassment.
''This is unacceptable. Women should be given the respect they deserve. People who engage in that kind of behaviour belong in jail,'' Aden Abdi, a resident, said
