The mother claimed her daughter, a form three, had disappeared from home for two weeks.

"You will give me my daughter. Or if you want to marry her pay the dowry," the woman kept on shouting at the student who had now locked himself inside his room.

The landlord tried to calm down the woman but all was in vain as she kept shouting while threatening to break down the door if he did not open.

"Open this door or I will break it. I know my daughter is also in there," she shouted while banging the door.

The form three lady had been staying with the student for almost a week now.

The landlord finally calmed down the lady and convinced the student to open the door. The form three lady was also in the house. No sooner had the door been opened than the mother begun beating up the daughter.

"You are busy giving me a headache yet  I am paying for your fees. If you want to get married then pack your things and leave my house," the mother shouted to the daughter.

It took the effort of several locals who were passing by to stop her.

After the chaotic scenes that lasted for almost an hour, the woman calmed and took away the daughter leaving the third year student in embarrassment.
