Protests, by members of the Umoja Thika Settlement Scheme, were witnessed again today outside the National Land Commission offices over what they call invasion of their land.
They demanded Lands Cabinet Secretary and NLC Chairman Muhammad Swazuri listen to their concerns.
The elders, accompanied by their children, failed in their efforts to get an audience from the two top government land officers.
''Former politicians are involved in this scam and we will not take it lying down. We have lived here for years,'' James Muge, a resident, told the press,.
According to them, the land was given to them following a directive from President Uhuru Kenyatta.
