Garissa Township MP Aden Duale has said that NASA leaders are not welcome to Garissa with their push for Raila Odinga’s illegal swearing in.

Speaking to journalists in Garissa Town on Friday, Duale said that residents will not play Raila’s political ‘theatrics’.

The leader of Majority in the National Assembly stated that local’s support president Uhuru Kenyatta’s government and will not be fooled by the former Prime Minister.

Duale said that Raila is wasting his time, noting that he was rejected on the ballot by Kenyans.

“Raila Odinga should know that his political fate was sealed a long time ago and should let his supporters move on instead of holding them hostage,” he said.

The MP said that Raila’s push to be sworn as the people's president in remains irrelevant noting that he cannot stop Uhuru’s government from discharging its mandate.

The Jubilee MP asked Garissa locals to ignore the former Prime Minister when he visits the county late this month.

Duale said that Garissa remains a Jubilee stronghold and that NASA leaders cannot change facts.

NASA leaders plan to hold their final rally in Garissa in readiness for Raila’s swearing in as the people’s president scheduled for on January 30.

The opposition leaders will be traversing other parts of the counties as they prepare for the planned coronation that the government has termed illegal and highly treasonous.

On Sunday, Raila will lead NASA principals in a series of rallies in Kakamega county.
