Celebrated Kenyan gospel artist Emmy Kosgei has finally revealed why she married an older Nigerian man.

In an exclusive interview with Talk Central, the talented singer said that the Nigerian General Overseer of the Revival Assembly Church, Anselm Madubuko is that ideal man she was looking for, adding that she will remarry him in the next life.

The singer said that it took her three months to relate to the man of God and she has no regrets having married him.  The remarks of the singer come years after she came under fierce criticism following her marriage to the Nigerian man.

Kenyans on social media criticized her for walking down the aisle with a man almost the age of his father.  Kosgei has, however, maintained that she is not perturbed by the kind of criticisms she receives from Netizens. She also said that marrying a younger man is the last thing she would do.

“No way (I can’t marry a younger man if I divorce). They come with their own problems and where I have gone now (high) is a big gap ooh…My husband has got me, he loves me,” said Kosgei, as quoted by SDE.

The singer also divulged that some single women in the pastor’s church were not happy with his decision to marry him to the point that they left.
