According to Murang'a Woman Representative, Sabina Chege, the only punitive measure which will tame corruption in the country is the execution of guilty Kenyans.

She said she will take an amendment Bill in Parliament that will see corrupt convicts killed

" I am proposing once people are convicted by our courts for corruption, they are taken before a firing squad at Uhuru Park and are shot dead in full glare of the public. It has happened in China and we can as well embrace it here in Kenya," Chege said.

The lawmaker was speaking at Ihura Stadium in Muranga town during a walk to raise funds for the Muranga chapter of the Kenya Red Cross.

Chege additionally urged MPs to support the Bill once it is tabled at the floor of the House.

Over the recent days, the government has been rocked with multi-billion scandals at the National Youth Service and the National Cereals and Produce Board.

Chege called on various investigating arms of the government and the courts to pursue the matter fully.
