Mr Mueke said that Governor Sonko had had enough time to deal with the issues plaguing Nairobi.

''If it was in his first 100 days, we would be able to listen and scrutinise the governor's comments a little more closely but it's been 8 months. You can't tell me that the garbage that was dumped yesterday in Eastleigh or last week on Jiji road was put there by Kidero... Governor Sonko, our governor, really should have had a plan and should have begun fixing the mess... I think he is finger-pointing... Saying that this is cartels and this is Kidero is not going to work,'' Mr Mueke said.

The former deputy governor was speaking on prime time TV Sunday.

Mueke urged Sonko to sit down with his team and look into the issues plaguing the county and come up with a constructive, workable plan to solve them.

His words come in the context of a raging storm buffeting Governor Sonko over the deplorable state of the capital city.

Sonko has maintained that the Kidero administration made things difficult for him and he is dealing with inherited issues.
