A top Jubilee Member of Parliament from the North Rift region has been listed among the 47 legislators who have never contributed to a debate at the National Parliament over six months since his election.Four other MP’s from the region are also included in the list that was released on Monday by the Mzalendo.According to the research by the online platform that keeps tabs on the performance of MPs, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has never spoken in Parliament since he was re-elected in the August 8 poll.Sudi, a two-time MP coincidentally has been vocal during various functions he organizes and those attended by the Deputy President William Ruto, his close ally.Another North Rift MP who has been ranked among the most dormant in Parliament is Alex Kimutai of Emgwen. He was re-elected in last year’s poll on a Jubilee ticket but since then he has not uttered a single word in parliament.First timers Gladwell Cheruiyot, Jane Jepkorir and Lilian Cheptoo who are Women Representatives for Baringo, Elgeyo Marakwet, and West Pokot counties respectively were also listed among MP’s who have never spoken in parliament.In the report, Kipipiri MP Amos Kimunya, Wilberforce Odhiambo (Funyula), Hassan Halafo (Isiolo North), Maoka Maore (Igembe North) and Laikipia East’s Amin Ali were ranked as good performers.
