Aden who lost re-election in last year’s general election wants Raila, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula to continue pushing for reforms even after agreeing to work with Jubilee government.

Speaking to journalists in Garissa Town on Thursday,  Aden said that electoral reforms and justice should be realized first before national reconciliation.

The former ODM lawmaker said that the country is bleeding and attempts to abandon reforms will be disastrous in the future.

“What the country needs first is justice for innocent people who were brutalized by the police during last year’s general election,” he said as quoted by a local daily.

Aden asked Raila to use the opportunity and push Jubilee to electoral reforms.

He said that the opposition leader must fulfill the promises he made to his supporters and Kenyans.

“We cannot forget and assume that everything is well when in the real sense the country is deeply hurting,” he said.

The former MP asked Uhuru and Raila to reach out to other leaders across the divide and take the country forward.

“I personally welcome their meeting and pray that it will bear fruits in terms of reforms,” the former lawmaker who is also ODM organizing secretary said.

President Kenyatta’s meeting with Raila last week continues to draw reactions across the divided.

A section of Wiper politicians is, however, demanding for ODM to relinquish it parliamentary seats on grounds that the party has joined Jubilee.

On Monday during the NASA summit meeting, the principals are said to have agreed on wider and inclusive national dialogue.

On Wednesday, Kalonzo announced that he wants a separate meeting with President Kenyatta.

Kalonzo's push to meet Uhuru separately has been criticized by a section of ODM politicians who say it’s unnecessary.
