In most towns where scrap metals is booming across the country cases of vandalism are also on the increase. 

The government losses billions of shillings due to vandalism as many kenyans undergo losses. 

 During the construction of the Standard gauge railway many people were arrested for vandalism. 

In Kisii County, the scrap metal trade is booming and street children are making money out of it. 

Some people are selling beds made up of old metals, old sufurias, old iron sheets to hawkers going round deep in villages to collect scrap metals to get income. 

It is time thegovernment did something about it.
