The National Government will construct over 400 kilometres of roads in Kisii County.

This is according to the Deputy President William Ruto who said that all the elected Members of Parliament had been tasked to identify the roads that should be tarmacked. 

"We are committed to ensure that proper roads are constructed in Kisii County. The first road that will be launched is the Nyachenge- Tabaka and Etago- Kenyenya roads," he said. 

The Deputy President said that once the roads are tarmacked, locals will gain a lot especially farmers. 

"Motorists will not have hard times ferrying customers from place to place and farmers will access markets easily," he said. 

The DP sais that the government was working close with donors to ensure that the lives of kenyans are improved.
