The Government has been urged to promote youth opportunities in order to assist them to gain some income by either job opportunities or self-employment by sharpening their skills.

Addressing the media at Wema Centre during this year's graduation ceremony, the Program Director, Henry Otieno said he is going to cooperate with the Street Family Rehabilitation Trust Fund next year in order to assist the less fortunate youths who are brought up in slum areas like Mwakirunge located in Kisauni Constituency of Mombasa County.

He said it will be of great use if more facilities were opened in such areas so that more youths can be engaged. He appealed for the government to reduce some regulations in order for them to access some financial funds like Youth funds.

Since the first graduation ceremony which was first held in 2010, the institution has grown up in numbers for those who graduate each year and in this ceremony, a total of 40 students graduated.

They have been receiving support from Safaricom and appealed for more stakeholders to come on board so that more youth can benefit.

Among the graduands included Esther Mulongo who emerged the best and expressed her satisfaction and happiness for being among the graduands as she is one of the beneficiaries.
