Wambua said the Wiper party is more solid than before.

He said the meeting between Kibwana and Deputy President William Ruto is not an indication that the governor is ditching the party.

Wambua addressed the press in Kitui town on Sunday.

He said the 'handshake' is part of the party's resolutions to meet leaders in a bid to mull support for Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka's 2022 presidential bid.

"People should get things clear, Kibwana isn't ousting from Wiper. Whoever is wishing for that will wait for a long time before it happens," Wambua said.

Wambua said the claims are propaganda from Wiper nemesis who's aim is to see it crumble.

He said it wouldn't make much of a difference even if Kibwana ditches Wiper.

"Wiper would still remain intact even if Kibwana opts to move out, but he isn't going anywhere," Wambua said.

Wambua called for unity among Kamba leaders and urged them to avoid launching attacks among themselves.
