Governor Lee Kinyanjui is setting up a communication team to boost his image in the political arena where perception is key.
Inside sources who have spoke to this writer said Kinyanjui has raided Nation Media Group and plucked a sub-editor by the name Beatrice Obwocha.
Obwocha will now head the governor's communication unit as the director.
According to several people at NMG, Obwocha is a respectable lady with the gift of the pen and a soft voice that 'can win you'.
Before she landed at the giant media house at Nation Centre, she worked at the Standard Group as a reporter and sub-editor
Before hanging her boots at NMG, the maverick scribe was also a sub-editor of Sunday's Buzz Magazine.
Obwocha was however, well thrust to the limelight during her coverage for road safety.
She holds a degree in Communication Science from University of South Africa.
