In an interview on Milele Radio on Thursday, Mutua stressed on the need for Kenyans to settle for visionary individuals who are offer development and ethical leadership.

Mutua faulted Kenyans for repeatedly embracing selfish leaders who he accused of looting public resources leading to sluggishness in development progress.

''The main problem we have in Kenya is bad politics, some of our leaders have turned into thieves and are busy looting public resources. It is time Kenyans put an end to this,'' Mutua said.

''Nobody should get into leadership because of the financial benefits the position comes with, instead, it should be with the sole aim of serving Kenyans,'' He added.

The Maendeleo Chap Chap Party boss also blamed the leaders for what he termed as 'pulling performing leaders down'.

''They are used to sitting idle and watching as Kenyans continue suffering, they do not allow leaders who operate differently serve in peace. They are unwilling to embrace efficiency and are only interested in diverting public resources into their pockets,'' Mutua said.

Mutua said Kenya has the potential to turn into an amazing destination, but only in the absence of greedy politicians in leadership.
