Speaking during the burial of the late Godfrey Ochieng' in East Seme ward, Nyong'o noted that his county executives had already tabled a budget to the Kisumu County Assembly for debate.

He urged the Members of County Assembly (MCAs) to pass the budget presented by the executives so that his administration can proceed with development projects in the region.

"We as the executive we have done our part, it's now upto the members of Kisumu County assembly to pass the budget that was presented to the assembly for us to be able to fast tract development projects for our people," Nyong'o said.

The Governor was accompanied by area MCA Seth Okumu and Eric Agola of West Kisumu Ward.
