A Form 3 student from Muhoho High School in Gatundu South was sent home on Friday after he was allegedly caught stealing a loaf of bread from the school dining hall.

In the suspension letter he was ordered to return with 1000 loaves of bread, which according to the school, is adequate to feed all the students in the school.

 Also, the deputy principal ordered the student to clear all his pending school fees balance.

“You are required to return to school the soonest time possible having cleared all the school fees and also come with enough breads to feed all the students in the school, that is,1000 loaves,” read part of a letter signed and stamped by the school's deputy principal.

With bread retailing at an average of Sh50, the student's parent/guardian will have to foott a bill of up to Sh50,000.
