As usual, politics took centre stage led by Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi 'Sonko'. The key issue being Cord's push to disband IEBC.

Sonko remained spoke the invited Gatundu South Mp Moses Kuria but unlike the Nairobi Senator, Kuria was Heckled and the noise was heard all over with workers showing their discontent but the first time Mp continued with his speech unperturbed.

In his speech, he started by not so welcoming remarks.

"I have come to celebrate with Kenyan workers and if you don't want to listen go home and stop behaving in a childish manner," stated the Mp.

He went on to condemn Cord's manner of disbanding the IEBC.

"We don't want IEBC since it was formed by Raila's team but bring that motion to parliament and we assure you we will disband it," stated Kuria.

Kuria has recently opposed Cord's attempt to remove IEBC from power and at times using abusive words but today was not his day.
