The married men, most of whom live an above average life, have formed a group dubbed Team Watembezi. Some of the men who are part of the group have been accused of neglecting their families, opting for the young girls, most of whom are said to be in their 20s.The Watembezi group is known for organising road trips where they tour different parts of the country, mostly on weekends with the main agenda being to have fun.The men in the group pay for the expenses incurred during the trips, and in return, they get to engage in sexual relations with any lady in the team.Members of the group normally communicate on different social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.The ladies are allowed to post photos taken on the trips on their individual social media profiles."Men and women engage in drinking sprees then proceed to exchange partners and you are free to have sex with anyone you fancy in the group. It was my first time, I was so traumatised. I can never go back again,” said a university student whose identity has been withheld for security reasons."My married brother is a member of the group. His Subaru car has the group's logo. Personally, I would like to join the group but my pocket cannot allow me because it is not for hustlers like me,” said Joseph, a resident in Limuru."It is the men who pay the bills, they take care of the transport and everything else. For the girls you will have to accept to have sex with any member of the group, so long as he has an interest in you," he added. The group has its own clothing line with the ‘Team Watembezi’ label. They brand their own T-shirts, hoods as well as print the group’s logo on their personal cars.A section of women in Limuru have raised concerns over the new trend, faulting the men in the group for neglecting their families after joining the group. The women further criticised the young girls for causing mayhem in their marriages."My husband works in a big company and earns a high salary but he neglected all his responsibilities as a father since joining the group in 2016. I only see his pictures with small girls in exotic places while I struggle to feed our children at home, said a mother of three children who resides in Limuru, as quoted by Tuko.co.ke.
