Deputy President William Ruto met opposition's NASA co-principal Moses Wetangula on Friday.The duo joined family members, and friends of the late Kitui West MP Francis Nyenze at the Christ is the Answer Ministries (CITAM), Karen, Nairobi County for a funeral service.Several other political leaders were also present, including former Kitui senator David Musila.Ruto and Wetangula, despite their political differences, sat side by side and even shared a word at some point.Nyenze on December 6, at Nyenze died at the Nairobi Hospital and his remains moved to Lee Funeral Home.During MPs swearing-in on August 31, the Wiper Democratic Movement MP carried an oxygen tank into the National Assembly and left shortly after taking oath of office.The 60-year-old husband and father of three was born on June 2, 1957 in Kabati, Kitui.Nyenze was a close ally of Wiper party leader and NASA co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka, Ruto's close political opponent.

He will be buried on Tuesday December 19.
