Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has maintained that he is the best candidate for presidency in 2022 general elections.
Mutua said he deserves the top seat since he has proven to Kenyans that he can deliver development and change livelihoods of not only Machakos residents but citizens acrossthe country.
The county boss spoke during the official launch of Higher Education Scholarship program at Athi River Youth Polytechnic in Mavoko, Machakos County on Monday.
He said time for politicking was over and Kenyans need development not empty rhetoric words which donot bring food ontheir tables.
Mutua said the program was one of those seriously needed by Kenyans hence need for him to be elected as the President in next polls for him to extend such development projects to all parts of the country.
"Through development, we should make Kenya to be like Singapore, Malaysia and Dubai. By so doing, our Kenyan youths will not be queuing at the other country embassies looking for visas to go and work overseas. Instead, youths from other countries will be changing their names to be Kenyans. That's why I will be on the ballot in 2022 vying for presidency and by God's grace, I will be the fifth Kenyan president," Mutua said.
