John Opore, ex- Bonchari MP said those spreading propaganda are out to satisfy their selfish interests.

"I am busy following up a petition I filed at Kisii court challenging the victory of my opponent John Oyioka. I am still in politics and have no plans to retire soon," he said.

He asked opponents to play mature politics because it is not yet campaign period.

"Why should some individuals go round misleading the people that I have retired? It is not the time to play immature politics because the same people lost in the polls now they are idle attacking me negatively," he added.

He asked constituents to be calm and wait for the court to determine the petition he filed in court.

"I am confident that the court will nullify the elections results for Bonchari and order for fresh polls. For now, let us give time for the court to decide," he stated.
