Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has despised those opposing him calling them admirers who have their priorities wrong.

The leader has been on the receiving ende since his election into the office with claims of mismanaging county resources and not considering any advise in the county governance.

"Kabogo is a huge name causing ripples and that's why every other leader looking for recognition keeps on mentioning it to gain relevance," affirmed the county boss.

The area MPs and few MCAs have been opposing his leadership on various occasions including Kabogo refusal to shift his office to Kiambu town where its meant to be for over two years.

"If you perform your duties well, that is all people want to see as they are eager to see development, they will judge from that," assured Kabogo who stated that his main agenda is to empower Kiambu residents through good roads, hospital and water leaving a reputation that will speak for its self.

Speaking on Monday morning during an interview with a local media house, Kabogo cleared the air also on speculations that he said that central region would not support Deputy President William Ruto's bid to state house, stating that he was misquoted and will sue the station that reported the story.

But what attracted much attention were the allegations by a blogger that the Governor was involved in dubious imports, a claim he refuted stating he only operates clean and legal businesses.

"I don't have to go mentioning my businesses everywhere but i abide by the law and pay all my tax and nothing is unlawful,” he added.

Since his unexpected entrant into Kiambu politics, Kabete Member of Parliament Ferdinand Waititu has been giving the incumbent leader sleepless nights, with the former Embakasi MP ready to vie for Kiambu County top seat.
