“I have been in politics for a long time unlike my opponents who joined politics the other day," said Angwenyi, who is serving his fifth term.

"I am appealing to my opponents to stop insulting and abusing me because their time will come when they will serve the people of Kitutu Chache North,” he added.

The National Assembly Deputy majority leader urged his rivals to discuss on matters of development instead of concentrating in abusing him.

“I am old enough to curse someone but I don’t wish to do that. I have given a grace period to my junior opponents to reform or else I deal with them."

He pledged development in his constituency adding that the Jubilee government is also determined to spread its agenda across the region.
