According to Kalonzo, IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati owes President Uhuru Kenyatta and the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga an explanation following the nullification of the Presidential win.

Kalonzo addressed the press in Nairobi on Saturday.

“We must say ‘no’ to stolen elections in this country and in the African region. While I was away, I see that Chiloba has been brought into account. I think that they should tell us more,” Kalonzo said.

He said the nation cannot conduct another election with the two leaders in office.

“If there is going to be a meaning in the handshake, I look forward to having a new commission. We cannot go into an election in 2022 or even before with Chebukati and Chiloba at the helm. The current commission is worse than that of Issack Hassan,” Kalonzo said.

Kalonzo said he plans to meet retired President Daniel Moi to discuss several issues about the state of the nation.

He has hinted at contesting for the nation’s top seat come 2022.
