This comes as a shocker to Kalonzo, Musalia, and Wetangula who expect Raila Odinga will support their presidential bids in 2002.

In a statement read out at the party's headquarters in Nairobi today (Tuesday) by Suna East MP Junet Mohammed, ODM said that Raila would focus on the struggle for social justice and avoid distractions.

''The PG encouraged the party leader, his excellency Raila Amollo Odinga, to stay focused on the big picture and the struggle for a better, just, and inclusive  Kenya and refuse to be distracted by those positioning themselves for 2022,'' the statement read.

This comes hardly days after Musalia Mudavadi talked about an MOU that locked out Raila Odinga from contesting the presidency in 2022.

Kalonzo, Musalia, and Wetangula have been strategising with their eyes focused on 2022 presidential politics with the expectation that Raila will support them.
