Kalonzo who is eyeing to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022 said the party also plans to rebrand before the polls.

The former Vice President said the party is working on a strategy that will see him win in 2022.

He said the party’s main target is youth, women, and persons living with disabilities.

“We are on course in terms of getting ready for the 2022 polls and we will reach to every corner of this country with our agenda,” Kalonzo said as quoted by a local daily on Thursday.

Kalonzo said his party is also keen on uniting the country.

He noted that the party supports the unity deal between President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM party leader Raila Odinga.

“National dialogue was our idea as Wiper before it was snatched,  but we will still work with other leaders on these agenda,” Kalonzo said.

Kalonzo is eyeing to succeed President Kenyatta in 2022.

The former Vice president is banking on ODM leader Raila Odinga’s support as per their agreement in 2017.

Political analysts, however, note that Raila might not support Kalonzo in 2022 since he might also be on the ballot.
