A 24-year-old man is being held at Kangundo police station after he was allegedly caught engaging in a sexual act with a cow.
The half-dressed man was found in an unnatural act with a neighbor's cow in Matetani village, Kangundo sub-county of Machakos county.
Bethwel King'ele the area chief confirmed the outrageous incident saying that the man was busted by the neighbor's daughter engaging in the act in the cowshed.
The young lady raised alarm and the residents with community policing members apprehended the suspect thus handing him over to the police.
"He's around 24 years. On Saturday evening he was found engaging in the unnatural act with a neighbor's cow, he was apprehended and taken to Kangundo police station", said King'ele.
The Chief noted that a veterinary officer was called and confirmed that indeed the act was committed on the cow.
He condemned the incident which he termed as indecent and shameful.
King'ele also warned residents that the law is clear on bestiality and anyone found culpable of the act won't be spared.
The suspect is expected to appear in court on Monday.
