With the resignation of Governor Mike Sonko's deputy Polycarp Igathe at the helm of the county's leadership, different leaders have continued offering their opinions.

According to the opposition, the political marriage between Sonko and Igathe was not possible and was bound to fail from the start.

Kibra MP Ken Okoth said that Jubilee leaders always come with a negative side in their leadership and what happened at City Hall was just a continuation of the same.

“Now Nairobi County has no deputy governor, just like Nyeri County. Must every cloud have a silver lining?” Okoth asked.
