Carole Odero, a fashion commentator, found herself on the receiving end of vicious attacks after criticising the gown that Meghan Markle rocked when she tied the knot with her lover, Prince Harry.
Kenyans flocked to social media and fired salvo upon salvo at Ms Odero for her rather condescending commentary on the African-American beauty.
The residents of Garissa who followed the wedding also joined other Kenyans in reacting to Caroline Odero's words.

''That was a very condescending comment from her. Meghan looked very beautiful regardless of what Caroline thinks,'' Kuno Abdi said.
''I think Caroline got it all wrong this time around. Markle very decent in that dress. I loved it,'' Karim Balo said.
''Clearly, she doesn't know what she was talking about. She is just jealous,'' Medina Mohamed said.
''Nobody cares what Odero or whatever her name is has to say. Meghan was exquisite,'' Sukre Abdihakim said.
''I felt very bad that she talked the way she did. Disgusting,'' Salo Aden said.
''She knows she can't pull off that kind of look. Sour grapes,'' Chris Obanga said.
