There are many things that happen during the World Cup season. Apart from enjoying the field games, there are other crazy things that go on behind the curtains. Before the start of the World Cup, a female World Cup reporter got kissed and groped on by a fan on live TV. Julieth Gonzalez Theran, a Colombian reporter working for German Channel Deutsche Welle in Saransk, Russia was live on TV showing behind her a clock as it counts before the start of the first match of the World Cup. However, just from the blues, a fan came out shouting, kissed her on the cheek and grabbed her breasts. Despite all these distractions, Theran continued to report and never minded the fan.She posted the footage later on social media to help her identify this man. The man, who she claims took advantage of her, acted weirdly and should face the law. She posted the footage saying: “I was there for around two hours preparing my things and nothing happened to me. But when we were live that man took advantage of it.”“He came at me, gave me a kiss and he touched my breast. I had to continue, afterward, I tried to see if the man was still there but he had left.”“We do not deserve this treatment. We are equally as professional and deserving. I share the joy of football but we must identify the limits between affection and harassment,” she wrote.Kiambu residents who have seen these video had their views on the same. Here is what they said about this incidence:Humprey-the-layer: "What's wrong? You cannot say hello to someone with a kiss on the cheek anymore because it is harassment?"Mercy-love-kariuki: That’s sexual harassment live on TV.Peterson-smith: The fan was just enjoying himself, nothing wrongAmos-ouko: I guess if it was a man being touched and kissed everybody will be quiet!!!!Karanja-sonko: She was being ignited to do her work well.
