Wamatangi wants the Ford Kenya Party leader to focus ahead instead of crying over 'spilt milk'.

Speaking  during an interview on Citzen TV breakfast show on Thursday morning,  Wamatangi urged the Bungoma senator to accept and strategize  for future leadership positions.

“I sympathize with my colleague Wetangula but  also encourage him to move on and focus on greater things ahead,” he said.

Wamatangi said that the Bungoma senator was a gentleman, adding that he still has chance of serving in the Senate.

Wetangula was ousted on Tuesday after  19 NASA senators mostly from ODM voted to have him replaced by Siaya senator James Orengo.

The Bungoma senator ouster has elicited  sharp criticism with a section of NASA affiliate parties crying foul.

The affiliate parities (ANC, Wiper and Ford Kenya) are accusing the Raila Odinga-led ODM party of betraying the NASA coalition.

Political analysts argue that Wetangula’s ouster will haunt Raila Odinga should he opt to contest in the 2022 general election.

Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and his ANC counterpart now want senator Orengo not to accept the position noting that doing so will be ‘collapsing’ the NASA coalition.

NASA principal's are expected to hold a summit meeting today to discuss Wetangula's ouster among other issues.
