This time round Mzee Kibor is suing his two sons and the Attorney General for subjecting him to malicious prosecution.

This comes after his two sons, Evans Kipkosgei Kibor and Ezekiel Kiprotich Kibor, sued him for allegedly threatening to kill them using his gun in their family farm on the outskirts of Eldoret town on March 7 last year.

Eldoret Principal Magistrate Naomi Wairimu dropped the case by the sons but Mzee Kibor was impelled to sue his sons and the office of the Attorney General.

Through his lawyer, Stanley Kagunza, Kibor claims the charges damaged his reputation rendering him as a killer.

“My client’s character was assassinated following the charges which were preferred against him. The case subjected him to psychological torture,” said Kagunza.

The lawyer further told the court that Kibor had spent over Sh800,000 as legal fees and other expenses during the court proceedings.

The sons and the AG are yet to file their responses.

Kibor recently filed a second divorce case against his third wife, barely a year after the court granted him his wishes to divorce the second wife, Josephine, whom they had been married for over 50 years.
