[Photo/William Kingi/Facebook]Mombasa Deputy Governor William Kingi has urged NASA supporters not to lose hope after Raila Odinga postponed his swearing-in.Speaking to journalists in Mombasa Town on Wednesday, Kingi said that NASA's agenda is much alive and that the push to swear-in Raila Odinga as the People's president has not fizzled out.He said that Raila believes in justice, fairness, and equality and that he will not sit and watch Jubilee administration oppress Kenyans.Kingi maintained that NASA does not recognize president Uhuru Kenyatta's president saying that they (NASA ) will do everything possible to ensure fresh president is held. "We have not given up on our quest for electoral reforms and call on our supporters to be patient and calm as we revise our strategies to ensure that our leader Raila Odinga is sworn in as the people's president," he said.Kingi at the same time rubbished claims that NASA is divided following the postponement of Raila Odinga's swearing-in.The Mombasa deputy governor said that NASA leaders are united in their push for a better country that respects the rule of law and electoral justice.Raila's swearing-in was postponed to a later date.While postponing the inauguration that the government had termed treasonous, NASA principal Musalia Mudavadi said that Raila could not have been sworn in absence of his deputy Kalonzo Musyoka who is in Germany attending to his ailing wife.Mudavadi also disclosed that the inauguration was called off after internal and external consultations maintaining that a later date will be announced for the inauguration.
