Pockets of alignments have already started with one group positioning Senator Fred Outa for 2022 governorship and the other side being on the side of the deputy governor Dr Mathew Owili.

Kisumu County Speaker, Onyango Oloo, County Secretary, Ouya Kalausi and some MCAs who are close allies to the Senator have publicly accused the deputy governor of sabotaging Nyongo's administration allegations which Owili has claimed to be untrue.

Dr. Owili has the backing of Nyakatch MP, Aduma Owuor who came into the picture recently at the burial of Bishop Silas Owiti where he expressed his discomfort with the constant attacks on the deputy governor by the Outa.

The Senator did not take Aduma's remarks lightly reminding him that he didn't not support the governor and his deputy during the August election and should therefore stop pipping his nose on matters that do not concern him.

The feud escalated during the homecoming of governor Nyong'o on Friday where the senator was heckled by youths making him to prematurely leave the event.

Senator Outa accused Aduma of organizing and paying the youths to heckle him.

If the situation is not contained now the more worse it may be as the residents call upon the two protagonist to settle down their differences for smooth running of the county.
