This is amid a decision by the finance committee chairman James Were to table a motion on Thursday afternoon to have the bill withdrawn until Tuesday next week to allow his committee time to come up with an incisive report.

He told the house that since he was away during the public participation of the bill, he needed to sit with his committee and compile a full and detailed report on the bill.

Manyatta B Ward representative, Nereah Okombo was however, forced to apologise to the house when she insisted that the bill had not gone through public participation process and therefore needed to follow the process before being tabled in the house next week.

The speaker clarified to the house that the bill was advertised to members of the public for public participation in two mainstream papers.

She challenged the members to make sure that their members are well engaged in issues touching on their wellbeing blaming the public for not being involved in the bill that was openly held at the social hall. Adul warned the MCA's against shifting blame aimlessly adding that the finance bill was important for County’s development.

The bill will be tabled before the house next week on Tuesday afternoon as directed by the speaker.
