Residents of Jarateng Estate in Kisumu's Kondele were treated to drama Tuesday afternoon after a middle aged man found his wife in bed with a bodaboda rider.
The furious man acted on intelligence from his neighbours that his wife was seeing someone else in his matrimonial bed.
The man who works at a supermarket setup a trap and left to work as usual and before long came back after being alerted.
The bodaboda rider who always delivered milk to his homestead got into his house.
It did not take long for the husband to find the bodaboda rider who always delivered milk to them harvesting honey from his beehive.
The man then locked the two in the house and poured petrol all over the house and wanted to set it ablaze but thanks to the neighbours who intervened in time.
The duo however received a thorough beating from the locals before being rescued by police and taken to hospital before being taken to Kondele police station.
The woman when questioned about her acts claimed her husband was always lazy in bed and never performed his ‘roles’ well.
“My husband is very lazy and every time he comes from work he claims he is very tired. He is also abusive and manipulative,” claimed the woman.
The locals however where furious about her behaviour.
“Women of these days have no respect for marriage. They have a habit of cheating on their husbands who go out to work and sustain their families. This is not the first case we are handling here,” said Collins Ochieng.
