Sofapaka head coach Sam Ssimbwa has said the Kenya Premier League (KPL) is among the toughest leagues in Africa.Addressing Sofapaka’s new signing from Burundi Omar Moussa, the couch said the league requires players to remain dedicated.“In fact Kenyan Premier League (KPL) is one of the toughest in Africa, which requires players to be dedicated to achieve success. There could be instances where you can sign a foreign player and he flops and we don’t want it to happen at Sofapaka,” said the Coach, as quoted in the club’s website.Ssimbwa urged Omar to give his all during his two-year contract with Batoto Ba Mungu.He urged the player who has been plying his trade with Bugasera FC of Rwanda to try to adapt to the tough conditions in the Kenya Premier League as quickly as possible.“The Rwandese league is not as involving as the KPL and this is why I urge the boy to work extremely hard to get used to the rigors of the latter competition,” he said.The Ugandan tactician has already vowed to walk away if he doesn’t win any trophy with Sofapaka at the end of the year.He guided the team to a second place finish in KPL last year.
