Embakasi East resident will soon know who won the August 8 parliamentary elections after the courts ordered a recount of votes putting into question the victory of controversial ODM MP Babu Owino.
Jubilee aspirant in the August polls Mr Francis Mureithi successfully petitioned for the victory and was granted the recount reprieve by the High Court.
However, a defiant Babu Owino has been blowing his trumpet since the beginning of the process by giving a moment by moment updates to his supporters on matters regarding the re-tallying of votes.
Babu's latest posts come in one hour ago as the process is yet to reach a close.
"In 88 polling stations, I am leading with 24102 votes against my unworthy opponent with 9203 votes.God bless Embakasi east constituency," reads Babu's Facebook post.
The controversial MP has repeatedly claimed that the top leadership in Jubilee has been behind his woes since Mureithi challenged his August 8 victory.
